Introduction

The xpdf plugin allows users to view Adobe Portable Document Format documents from within Mozilla. The plugin is based on xpdf which is an open source pdf viewer by Derek Noonburg. It has some superficial modifications to allow it to be loaded as a shared object library, and has been partially made thread safe.

Status

• Pressing the Back button does not return you to the previous page unless the PDF plugin gets an event such as moving the mouse pointer back over the document viewing area.
• Moving back and forth several times between the PDF plugin and the previous page will crash mozilla.
• The plugin does not resize when you resize the browser
• You can display two pdf files at once, but interacting with both will crash mozilla.
